PURPOSE:
  • Grow ITW Plexus business through effective management of Distribution Channel.
  • Maintain superior customer relations within this channel.
  • Work closely with Distribution principals to develop strategies and implement growth plans.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Strategic, tactical, and operational planning with Sales Manager to determine primary objectives, implement plans to grow business and set specific targets toward growth within territory.
  • Provide technical support and training to Distribution and Manufacturers Reps.
  • Identify Market needs, trends, and opportunities within assigned territory.
  • Effectively manage allotted budget and resources.
  • Effectively communicate with others inside and outside of company in a tactful, courteous manner which promotes customer service orientation. Identify and resolve problems.
  • Promote, support and adhere to all safety, environmental and quality related policies and procedures.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
  • BS degree or equivalent plus 5+ years related sales experience.
  • Experience in industrial adhesives, bulk molding, thermoplastics and composites.
  • Strong people management skills to provide sales leadership in territory.
